In order to make sure the installation goes smoothly and disrupts your life as little as possible, please take a minute to review the process that takes us from start to beautiful finish - in just five days.


The Template Process
Before the template is scheduled, there are a handful of items to be completed.

Homeowner/Builder Checklist:
• Granite chosen, quote accepted with 50% deposit.
• Sink(s) delivered to our warehouse.
• Hole locations for faucets, hot water, water filter and soap dispenser given to salesperson.
• Old countertops removed by outside contractor (remodel) or cabinets installed.
• Coordinate with other subcontractors.

StoneWorks will:
• Schedule a time for our template staff to come to your house with templates.
• Schedule a time for your layout at StoneWorks.
• Schedule a time for installation.


The Installation
Scheduling
Unmatched by anyone, StoneWorks can schedule installation of your new countertops within five working days following templating.

We will secure the earliest available time and commit to a morning or afternoon installation appointment. (Unfortunately, we can't give a specific time as our crews must satisfactorily finish one job before starting another.)

Timing
Installation takes from one hour to two days - depending on the number of tops to be installed. Undermount sinks must sit for 24 hours for glue to dry before a plumber can install plumbing.

Any minor repairs or adjustments that are not taken care of during installation will be scheduled as "Warranty Items" and attended to in a timely manner. Dishwashers have to be in place for hardware to be properly installed.

Undermount sinks are attached to granite by StoneWorks and self-rimming sinks are installed by your plumber. (NOTE: Most modern dishwashers attach to cabinets and not to countertops.)


After The Installation
Your salesperson will provide a Stone Care Packet with information on care and maintenance, or you may pick one up in our showroom. Any rough spots on your countertop can be quickly removed with a razorblade.

StoneWorks has already applied a protective sealant to your countertops in our fabrication factory. For an explanation of sealers, please see your Stone Care Packet.

Warranty items and fine tuning of your countertop will be attended to by our installation team. Your salesperson can schedule an appointment.



StoneWorks offers only the highest quality and service, and we warranty all of our work. Warranties begin once the final invoice is paid in full.
