Team Building
When not cutting granite, the StoneWorks crew will often get together for group events and outings. Fishing trips, bowling tournaments, Christmas parades, grill outs, 5K runs, and the notorious annual oyster roast are always a blast! These types of events allow us a break from the usual cycle, while helping to build team spirit.
One of the most memorable group events was when John signed up nine employees and himself to attend a Dale Carnegie night class. We spent several nights a week giving mock speeches and skits to each other for two months! No one was very happy to be there, but there were certainly some lively and unforgettable moments .... all in the name of team building.
